Dan Johnson

Co-Founder, President and CEO

Dan is married to Lauren, and together they have seven children. A 2007 Theology graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Dan began his career serving Catholic youth as a high school campus minister and later as director of the Family Life and Respect Life Office for the Archdiocese of Mobile, where he launched Alabama’s first Archdiocesan Family Conference and led young adult pilgrimages to Poland.

Following his passion for storytelling, Dan co-founded 4PM Media in 2014 with Jack and Jamie McAleer, producing five feature documentaries and eight film series that have reached millions worldwide. He also built the streaming platform Wild Goose TV, now with over 60,000 members.

In 2022, Dan and the McAleers founded 10th Hour Productions to create original feature films and series for streaming and theatrical release. With industry experience, technical skill, and a deep love for the faith, Dan is dedicated to leading 10th Hour in producing the next generation of impactful Catholic films.

Jack and Jamie McAleer

Co-Founders, Board Chair and Secretary

Jack and Jamie McAleer were married in 1981, after which they moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina so that Jack could assist his father, who had recently become the Chairman, CEO, and President of Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation. Jack spent the next two dozen years working in many capacities to develop a retail strategy and grow the brand nationally and internationally.

Following a reversion in faith, Jack and Jamie became heavily involved in several Catholic ministries and served on many national boards including LifeTeen, the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Legatus, and EWTN. In 2015, the couple founded the Catholic production company 4PM Media with their son-in-law, Dan Johnson, to create beautiful films with purpose that will draw viewers into an encounter with God. Today, they live in Fairhope, AL where they enjoy their 3 children and 13 grandchildren.

Sean Dudley

Executive Producer

Sean Dudley brings operational and creative guidance to 10th Hour Productions. He is a business attorney with nearly 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial finance, working from home bases in Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, and Alabama. Sean’s artistic and charitable drive led him away from “Big Law,” to start a solo legal practice that allows for more passion projects “AMDG” (for the greater glory of God).

As a singer-songwriter, Sean has released an EP of original light rock and two new holiday singles, and he will be publishing more music in Summer 2025. He also directs and performs in local community theater, including recent productions of Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” and the Broadway classic “Brigadoon.” And he plans to release a children’s book by early 2026. At his church, Sean has led the parish council, the Knights of Columbus, a men’s prayer group, and a father-son “breakfast sodality” (Mass-then-Waffle House).

Sean has been married to his best friend, Margaret, since they graduated in 2005 from the University of Notre Dame. Together, they have five kids, ranging from grade school through college.

Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR

Board Member

Father Dave Pivonka, TOR, became president of Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2019. A member of the Franciscan Friars of the Third Order Regular, Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, he was ordained a priest in 1996. He served in leadership positions at Franciscan University, including as vice president for Mission and Planning. He also served as director of the TOR’s Post-Novitiate Formation and, most recently, directed the TOR’s evangelistic outreach, Franciscan Pathways. In 2014 he was the host of The Wild Goose, a groundbreaking series on the role of the Holy Spirit, and has since done similar series Metanoia (on God the Son) and My father’s Father (on God the Father.)

Joe and Mary Lou Roszowski

Board Members

Joe and Mary Lou Roszkowski are members of and are heavily involved in St. Lawrence Catholic Parish in Fairhope, AL. They are founding members of Archangel Radio, a Catholic radio station broadcasting across southern Alabama. For 33 years Joe served as President and CEO of the Original Oyster House restaurant, which boasted two locations, while Mary Lou served as the Director of Operations for not only the restaurant, but the couple’s two retail stores as well.

Joe and Mary Lou have been married for 41 years and have two children, Joshua and Victoria, and seven grandchildren.

Mark and Mary Carey

Board Members

Mark and Mary Carey have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina since 1994.  Mark retired after a 39-year career with IBM, serving in various roles throughout his time with the company.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from Regis University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  Mary worked as a Certified Public Accountant before staying home to raise their three children. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and a Masters of Arts in Theology from the Augustine Institute.

Mark and Mary spend a lot of time with their children and grandchildren, all of whom live in Raleigh, and other family members.  They are active in their church and enjoy walking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jerry Enos

Board Member

Jerry Enos retired as an executive vice president of a financial services company after serving for 35 years with leadership roles in sales, technology, and operations.  He cherishes time with his wife of 43 years, in addition to spending time with their children and grandchildren. In addition to family activities, he enjoys serving on the board of directors of Samaritan Ministries and The Foundation of the Diocese of Charlotte as well as fulfilling numerous duties with his parish. Receiving Jesus in the Eucharist at daily Mass is the highlight of each day and he also enjoys spending quiet time with God while fly fishing and hiking in the North Carolina mountains.

Jacob Smeraglia

Board Member, Graphic Designer

Jacob Smeraglia is an award-winning Designer & Creative Director with over ten years of experience in the creative industry. He has worked with a wide range of amazing brands including Disney, ESPN, The University of Alabama, The Orlando Magic, and The Philadelphia 76er’s. Currently, Jacob is based in Alabama and is the Designer and Creative Director at Smeraglia Enterprises. He and his wife Danielle are recent converts to the Church and enjoy spending time with their growing family!
